QUALITY CONTROL
In 1992 Petrolia Plastics became the second plastics company in North America to be awarded ISO 9002:87 and in 1997 it was registered to ISO 9001:94. In 2003, it was registered to ISO 9001:2000. Petrolia is also QS9000 compliant to meet the quality requirements of our customers in the automotive industry. ISO-9001 Benefits to the Customer: - enhanced customer service - reliable product delivery - optimal part quality In order to maintain the highest possible quality for our customers, Petrolia employs the latest tools and technologies. Industry accepted tools for part measurement such as our Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and color meter are used to ensure quality. Our quality policy: Petrolia Plastics Inc. will consistently meet the expectations of our customers, while continuously improving to the benefit of our customers, owners and employees. |

Petrolia also custom builds test equipment to meet the highly specialized quality requirements of our customers. Petrolia has employed Machine Vision systems for years for part flaw detection and measurement. Our arsenal of custom test apparatus also includes microwave test chambers and tailor-made distance measuring devices all designed and built in-house and integrated with our computer systems for accurate Statistical Process Control (SPC). |
